Anyone shooting one of these? I like what I have seen so far - including the price, but older reviews of the Taurus revolvers have been kind of mixed. I was hoping that someone might have some newer feedback.

link (for FYI)

Not sure if I have the same model or not. MIne is a 22mag.stainless and looks very similar. DA trigger pull is very heavy, but gun is acceptably accurate at 25 yards ie. about 8 ring accuracy. Haven't shot it at 50.

Thanks guys. Looks like more mixed reviews. Maybe these are a real crap shoot for quality. I just have a hard time justifying $600 or $700 for a S&W .22 that will do the same thing. Are there any decent .22 DA revolvers out there at a sane price?

I had one of these. Liked it pretty well. Fairly accurate. Fine in single action. But double action is about so stiff as to be almost unusable.

Funny, once I ponied up for a S&W 41, it lost all appeal and I sold it. The $600 model 41 is the better value.

There is a S&W 617 for sale in the Classifieds. It probably doesn't get much better than that in a DA 22lr revolver.

Bought mine new for abound $300. Had to return it to Taurus tho to adjust the barrel so it would shoot left after running out of rear sight adjustment. That and an action job I did myself with Wolf Spring package for $8.00 makes it an absolute delight to shoot. Singe action trigger is now a crip 3 lbs. Great to knock around with when scouting..

My son recently purchased the model 94 in .22LR. Has a 5" barrel and is stainless. It's an accurate little gun but the trigger pull in DA is horrendous. I have been trying to find a spring kit for it but haven't been able to-yet.

He originally bought this pistol for his wife to have fun with but the trigger pull is too much for her. He actually shoots it very well, it just won't work for her. So far the gun has been very reliable, he's put about 500 rounds through it.
