Keep an eye on your local Wally World and if you are lucky you might get there before the run starts on the bulk .22lr shells. It usually only takes about 2 hours for a shipment to sell out these days so good luck.
Prices will be around $13-15 a box.

my grandpa is the one that wants them. He said they are 16 at the wally world where they are. He wants to know if I could get them cheaper online from what i have seen $16 seems like a pretty good deal to me.
Locally Walmart has 500 Federal el cheapos for $14.47. Some are Walmarts have them, some don't. I think the rush is subsiding.
As stated above, shipping and fees will eat you up, especially if you're ordering small quantities. Now if you could find a good price and wanted 10,000 or so, considering you don't have to pay local/state tax on them, the shipping might be cheap enough to make them a bargain.

A few months ago Natchez had blazers for $1.49 per box of fifty. I ordered ten bricks, by time I got them here with freight they were $18.00 per brick. Local Walmarts had the Federal for $11.87 per box of 550 I picked up 4 boxes. They havent had any for a while. Lyle

Winchester x-perts: Had about 10 out of the 500 box that wouldnt fire(not bad) Had 1 out of about 5 that was not powerful enough to kick my p22 back to chamber the next round(thats aggravating)
FYI, today at our local discount store, Remington thunderbolts were 25.85 per brick of 500 (40 gr). I thought this was mismarked, so I had the clerk check and it was correct, he also stated, you better buy it now because every time its been coming in, the price increases.

Go with the Federal 510 from Walmart, or other dealers. They are usually about $1.47 a box plus tax. Right now that is just about your best bang for the buck. The word on the block is to stay away from the Remington stuff. At one time they made very good 22lr ammo, but that must have changed. Good luck.
