I had to create a the new Account to be able to post this.

I was trying to change the email on my "real" account with the display name Mike_Dettorre. When I was going thru that process, I received a prompt that said the email change would not be complete until I verified the email. The problem is I never received the verification email. Then when I tried to log back in the system said, you can't log in because you haven't verified your email.
