Anybody else here excited for the 2018 sheep season?

I've been eating sheep stew all day, looking at pictures from last year, wondering what this year has in store for me. Can't wait!

Nice!!

My head is spinning for this year.

Sheep/Goat in August. Taking my Nephew up the haul road in September for Moose. Then helping Joyce with her Bull Bison sometime this winter.

Love having so much on the calendar.

Cheers
Jim

Thank you! I wasn't behind the trigger, but probably the best one I've helped a hunter take. 10 years old, 42 inches. Alaska Hunting Adventures was the outfitter.

Here is my ram that I took last year. 39 inches, 15 year old ram.

Great rams!

I just ate my last package of sheep meat from my 2016 hunt. Damn, that's good meat!

Good Luck this Fall Josh. Looking forward to meeting up for beers and going over our seasons come November. Stay Safe and I know you will kill some biggies.

Out,
James

Very nice! I hope to eventually get the chance to hunt a big ram like that. Meanwhile, I'll take my 15-year old daughter on a hunt this fall for a Rocky Mountain Bighorn ewe here in New Mexico. A buddy and I will also likely go chase Barbary sheep this winter/next spring.

Been on 3 sheep hunts, 2 mountain goat hunts and several times to Alaska.
The sheep hunts by far are my favorite.
Still find it incredible just how good the meat is.

Not hunting this year. Best of luck to all those who are.
