Resonably priced? Can you be more specific?

Several good guides available. I'd suggest Scott Mileur.

Isn't that a draw tag?

Jake is there tags for goats you don't have to draw for?
I did find out there are some Brown bear hunts that don't require a draw on Kodiak.

Yes I think they are draw tags. That is why I'm trying to get something in the works. Thanks

You don't have to look any further than Jake (posted above). If I were a non resident and wanted to hunt goat on Kodiak my search would stop with him.

It depends on where you hunt. Most of Kodiak is draw, but the south end of the island is a registration hunt. Outfitters there can probably get you in sooner and without draw. Just depends on what you want.

Rhyme of the Sheep Hunter
May fordings never be too deep, And alders not too thick; May rock slides never be too steep And ridges not too slick.
And may your bullets shoot as swell As Fred Bear's arrow's flew; And may your nose work just as well As Jack O'Connor's too.
May winds be never at your tail When stalking down the steep; May bears be never on your trail When packing out your sheep.
May the hundred pounds upon you Not make you break or trip; And may the plane in which you flew Await you at the strip.

Rick Hoskins, Hunt Alaska Outfitters

If you sign up with him and give a deposit he locks in the price. It took me 5 years to draw and he gave me the price when I first signed up. Saved me several grand and he's got a great reputation.

I hunted goats with Sam Rohrer off the road system.I've never seen so many mt.goats as on Kodiak, counted 200 of them from one spot. One of the easier places to hunt goats, but still need to be in shape. I killed 2nd day on 9 7/8 in.there are bigger ones.

Kodiak s road system is arguably one of the most amazing road accessible goat hunts I’ve ever seen. There are some draw areas where you can land on a alpine lake and shoot goats from the tent. Been there. Seen it.

Sounds good to me, but I'll come up with a better story afterwards. Big Grin
