Some of you on here know I am very passionate about sheephunting. I thought it would be nice to get the wife and/or kids into it, thus putting them in for draw tags. Well this year my wife lucked out and drew a tag !!! I thought even though we don't get a sheep at least we gave it our best and spent some quality time together in the remote Alaska wilderness. Well, long story short, we did the hunt, got a little something out of it, but most of all got to spend quality time with my beautiful wife allowing her to experience the very thing I have passion for which she probably never understood why I do this. On the brutal hike out from her hunt in the pouring rain, she told me not to put her in for anymore sheep draw hunts....about a day later while at home....She said she is ready to do it again.

Tell her that is a NICE ram.
Wow. Full curl, too.
Good job. I hope she is hooked.

Great job!! Toad of a Sheep. Love the "short term memory" of Sheep hunters. I know just how she feels.

Rhyme of the Sheep Hunter
May fordings never be too deep, And alders not too thick; May rock slides never be too steep And ridges not too slick.
And may your bullets shoot as swell As Fred Bear's arrow's flew; And may your nose work just as well As Jack O'Connor's too.
May winds be never at your tail When stalking down the steep; May bears be never on your trail When packing out your sheep.
May the hundred pounds upon you Not make you break or trip; And may the plane in which you flew Await you at the strip.
-Seth Peterson
