My Taxiderist call me and gave me some bad news.. The cape he received from the Yukon was a mess and I need another one.. If anyone has one that would make a good Shoulder Mount please PM me..

Might be worth naming the outfitter for the sake of others. I couldn't imagine paying guided rates and having the problem you experienced.

Have you let the outfitter know?

It's not the Outfitter it's his Guide.. Even Outfitters make a bad choices now and then.. The Outftter will be told..
All that's important at this time is finding a Cape.. Somewhere...

It's not the Outfitter it's his Guide.. Even Outfitters make a bad choices now and then.. The Outftter will be told..
All that's important at this time is finding a Cape.. Somewhere...


My point is that perhaps the Outfitter can find you a cape. You may want to put a "needed" ad on Alaska List. I would then suggest you ask the outfitter to pay for it if you find one.

you paid the outfitter not the guide.

inform the outfitter ask him if there is a way he can help you and of course pays for the cape.

i will try to ask around but the cost may hurts you.

You are right on all accounts.. Even if the outfitter could find one {which is a needle in the hay stack } I'd still have all the charges I just paid to get it here..
Thats why I'm trying here ..Looking for a Cape
from AK or one thats in the Lower 48...
