Doug, surprised to see you on here. Was watching humming birds yesterday and thought of you. Hope your bookings are going well.

We still have the opening if anyone is interested. We only take four hunters in two exclusive areas and with the season being extended thru rut this year it should be another successful season.

TJ, I still spend the majority of every year at our homestead on the peninsula but still spend part of the winters at our cabin near Circle Hot Springs. it is not quite as remote as our peninsula homestead but is still a lot "bushier" than the Kenai.

Why do you ask?

As Dwight originally posted, the dates are Sept 10-20 and he is hoping to find a hunter to take his slot. It would be best to contact him first.

Sept 10-20 is the full season on the peninsula - although F&G may be considering lengthening it a few day like they did last year.

Just had a second cancellation - which leaves us short of both time and hunters. E-mail if any of you are interested in a great deal on a trophy moose hunt.

sounds like a good deal. If I get skunked on the draws here in the western states I'll be sending you an email (if anything is still available at that point)

It was the coldest and snowiest spring on record but eventually everyone went home with good big boars. But we had to work for them. This one was wounded and it took three days of tracking to finally catch up with him in this pass where the drifts were still 30 feet deep.

Dirk, No, that rifle is a CZ in 370 Sako ( aka 9.3x66 ) that Lon Paul recently built and brought up on the hunt.
