My daughter has been sucked into the blogosphere by my old friend Ron Spomer so it should prove interesting to read first hand accounts from a woman Alaskan guide's perspective

FourtyonesixPhil it’s really neat that you could raise your kids how you did. Not many kids being raised that lifestyle anymore. There’s another woman guide shooting a 416 down southeast way that gets quite a bit of press and grew up in the family guide business. But she’s raising kids on the boat while guiding last I heard.

FourtyonesixI think mutts tested for her registered the same day I did. But I’m not for sure on that. I remember a younger girl in there that day. And that’s about all I remember, nerves were going a bit that day....

But by the end of the hunt he had decided it was OK !

Mutts has been top dog in that family for the last 20 years.
I can attest to Tia being a very accomplished guide (gets it from Dad), and now we see that she is a very articulate writer (also from Dad), but the real question is how do her cookies compare to Rocky’s?
