Wow! 11 to 1 against shutting it down and unelected Federal Bureaucrats do it anyway. Anti-hunting agenda in action?

REALITY........

Alaska land in ownership by individuals is LESS the (1%) ONE PERCENT.

Federal owned land in Alaska is MORE than (60%) SIXTY PERCENT.

ALASKA is a "HARD COUNTRY for OLDMEN". (But if you live it wide'ass open, balls'to the wall, the pedal floored, full throttle, it is a delightful place, to finally just sit-back and savor those memories while sipping Tequila).

The proposed closure was drafted by a local who has 5+ decades living, hunting and guiding in the area. His father was a guide before him. I spoke with him at his house in Wiseman a couple of weeks ago.

Whether you agree or disagree with the closure, he has the best interest of the sheep population at heart. You won’t find anyone with a negative thing to say regarding his character.

And to be clear: this closure shuts down sheep hunting for all users, including local subsistence hunters.

Yes, F&G does track ram harvest.
