Time for Joyce and I to make our annual contribution and continue our incredible run of bad luck.

What are some of the permits you have drawn over the years?

I drew a Tok in 87.
My wife and I each got a Delta Bison tag,2 consecutive yrs.
A buddy and I partied bears tags on Kodiak 3 times.

Only applying for Delta Bison these days.

Jim ; you get a tag I'll help you pack it out.
Goes without saying you will kill one Cool
I should have a new 570 BearCat by then.

Phil Shoemaker : "I went to a .30-06 on a fine old Mauser action. That worked successfully for a few years until a wounded, vindictive brown bear taught me that precise bullet placement is not always possible in thick alders, at spitting distances and when time is measured in split seconds. Lucky to come out of that lesson alive, I decided to look for a more suitable rifle."
