I picked up a new CZ 452 left handed rimfire (22). The trigger is set up at less than 4 Lbs but the creep is horrible. I have a trigger kit on order from last week so hopefully it will get here soon. The wood is Turkish but rather plain. There is also a new company making milled bottom metal for it so I will order that also.

There is a guy on rimfirecentral.com in the CZ section named Superpres who is doing them now. He has some in polish and blue stages but isn't selling them yet. He's waiting to get some finished and get his sponsorship set up on Rimfire central. It replaces the cheesy stamped metal.

Frank,

I'd be interested in your views on the bottom metal when you get it. The stock bottom metal is pretty uninspiring.

I bought the same model late last year. Outwardly it was reasonably well finished but internally it was very rough.

Where did you get the sear kit from ?

CZ told me no replacment trigger available for the LH model. I was looking to purchase the adjustable trigger fitted to the 'Varmint' model. The guy checked but came back saying it was totally different and wouldnt fit. I thought this was unlikely but I havent had a chance to check it for myself.

As soon as I can get the new bottom metal I'll post pictures of it.
