Hello Jack

Congratulations on a beautiful trophy. The horns have great mass.
Was the area you hunted south of the Naryn River. What was the name of area where your camp was located.

Best regards
Aziz

Aziz,

Thank you for your comments. This is a hunt I will definitely to again. But I am not sure where we were sorry. We were in the Arpa region is all I know. There is no shortage of good trophies in that area.

I did meet two men in Bishkek airport. One didn't even see a ram. He spent his entire 10 days in an 8x12 trailer with SEVEN other men. Eating stale bread and salami the entire time. BTW, he booked with Pro Hunts based in Moscow. What I take away from that sad story is it does make a difference who you book with.

Thanks again men for the kind words. I appreciate it!

Thanks Jack, that Town and Valley are south of the Naryn river. The Marco Polo in this region are the Karelini or Tian Shan sub type with heavier horns and tighter curls.

I have already emailed Ermek and will talk to him at the SCI convention.

Thank you for rekindling my desire to hunt these beautiful sheep.

Regards
Aziz

Jack,

I did see your post before and even commented on it back in November.

Nice to meet you and Ty this weekend.
