Thats a massive Mouflon! Way Gold - congratulations!

Alpine Ibex are magnificent. Been applying in Switzerland for 4 years now... Hoping for next year.

I could also recommend a "safari" in the UK, for the six deer species

Thanks for sharing

Great trophies. Hunting in Europe with the scenery and traditions is the best. And, the schnitzel is good too as your photo shows.

The mouflon was 87.5 X 84 cm (gold), the Ibex was 167 (silver) and the boar's tusks were 20.8 cm (bronze). I don't think we measured the chamois.

They have some very good high scoring red deer as well. We saw some nice ones when I was hunting, but nothing quite like this one that another hunter took the day I arrived.

That is really cool! A European safari is now on my bucket list! Well done.

Aside from some fencing along the highway in one place to keep game off the road there were just cattle fences.

We have a company that sells our software in Europe; the owner of that company took me hunting while I visited Austria. Fantastic experience, with the noteworthy exception I got stuck there due to the volcano in Iceland.

that looks like a great hunt, can you send me information on how to contact them? It appears you had a great time and your experience was a good one. My wife really wants to go to Europe next year and well, you know, if she wants to go and I get to go hunting, it is all good.
