I wish my daughter had the ability to grow up like your kids. it is the way I grew up, but no longer possible here where we live.

I am working on my daughter now. Between ballet, shooting and Piano it is a transition, but she is doing well. I just mounted a red-dot scope on her single shot 22. I want her to use the single shot until I feel she is proficient shooting before giving her the ability to repeat.

You son looks like a very good shot. How old is the young man?

Juan, stay strong.

Juan---

Sorry, it has been a week since I checked in. I am not bored at all hearing about your children. I am very interested in how you are able to raise your children in Argentina. I am not so luck in many ways in California, but she is an amazing child. I just wish she had the outdoor freedom I had as a child. I am the wildlife biologist on 200,000 acres or ~80,000 hectares of timberlands in California used for logging, but I have the run of it for hunting too. I am working to make her a bigger part of that.

"Peace is that brief glorious moment in history when everybody stands around reloading" - Thomas Jefferson

Every morning the Zebra wakes up knowing it must outrun the fastest Lion if it wants to stay alive. Every morning the Lion wakes up knowing it must outrun the slowest Zebra or it will starve. It makes no difference if you are a Zebra or a Lion; when the Sun comes up in Africa, you must wake up running......

"If you're being chased by a Lion, you don't have to be faster than the Lion, you just have to be faster than the person next to you."
