Re-read the report this morning before work - It's got me pumped to be there next weekend! Great looking mount!

What did your ibex end up measuring?

Greg

Rhyme of the Sheep Hunter
May fordings never be too deep, And alders not too thick; May rock slides never be too steep And ridges not too slick.
And may your bullets shoot as swell As Fred Bear's arrow's flew; And may your nose work just as well As Jack O'Connor's too.
May winds be never at your tail When stalking down the steep; May bears be never on your trail When packing out your sheep.
May the hundred pounds upon you Not make you break or trip; And may the plane in which you flew Await you at the strip.

Brett, what an amazing trip you and your cousin had!!! Its a damn shame that your cousins scope failed on him.

It must seem like a distant memory being more than 2 years ago, but I am sure every memory you had being in Kyrgyzstan comes right back when you look at your wonderful mount.

I really really enjoyed reading every minute of your report. The photos are truly awe inspiring.

I have just booked a trip for me and 2 friends to fly from London, England to Kyrgyzstan for an ibex hunt.

You have shared a lot of very very useful information, I have already made mental notes that will be written down prior to our trip. I have also bookmarked this page as your list of things to take is great, also recommendations on tipping etc.

Its good to get such a fantastically detailed report from someone who has lived and breathed the Kyrgyz air.

Thanks again, I will be sure to try and post a report when I return from our adventure.
