2 ibex shot by my dad 2 weeks ago in Iran.
They were taken on 2 consecutive days with a borrowed CZ in .270 caliber and H-mantel ammo.
The first one measures 91cm and the 2nd is 103cm, he's getting mounted as is, although the cape on #1 has beter contrasts...

Hi,
I'll pass on the kudos.
My father has been doing business in Iran for a pharmaceutical company (animal health) for about 15 yrs now. Recently a colleague of his invited him to his home, which turned out to have a trophy room choke full of sheep. He organised the hunt for my father with a some well-known guides. I'll check for their website.
My father always enjoys his trips in Iran as the people are very accomodating, friendly, and pretty damn normal overall. Something the government might want to learn about...

Will it the ibex be shoulder or full mount?

You are absolutely right Smiler Persians/Iranian's are very hospitable and good to deal with...

2500 years old culture is under siege by a bunch of religious nuts bewildered

Cheers

The ibex will be a shoulder mount, with the head turned to the right, to clear the wall. If we got a full mount, the dog would probably mount it daily...
Here are a couple pics showing the countryside and camaraderie...

A picture tells a 1000 words, this one shows that feeling of brotherhood all hunters get, even though they don't all share the same language...
