here is a few pictures from my scotland trip last summer. The goat measures 85,8 inches in SCI, so I think it might get a top 7 place.

I went for roe deer, and shot a good buck in the rut.

biggest feral goat I have ever seen,

cheers
Rasmus

Very nice, both the buck and goat are top quality. Goats are frequently looked down upon but there aren't very many that reach that size! Have you counted the growth rings?
Where were you hunting in Scotland?

Thank you. Yeah I also think the goat was a very nice trophy, the biggest shot in 23 years on that estate, so I am pleased with that. I think that they are a fun and different quarry, and definitely well worth hunting if they are around, though we did not see many off them. I hunted in the are close to Aberfoyle and Ben Loman.

cheers

the goat is at the taxidermist at the moment for shoulder mount, and so is the buck. As I recall the goat was 11-12 years old, but I might remember wrongly. Will try to call my friend tomorrow to find out.

cheers
Rasmus
