I'm no expert on the varmints .. but they are a different sub species .. Horns are shaped differently, for sure .. Also there are apparently 'variations' of this subspecies ??... I do know that the variety we hunted seem to be really really agressive ... Not exactly sure why that is ??? I thought that perhaps since they don't have lions chasing them all the time they might be not as tempted to hare it out of there when things got spooky ..??? I'm really not sure .. My 2 cents is worth only 2 cents .. and that is Canadian money .. Our guides were so impressed with their ferocity (they also got charged by two the day we left) they muttered that they might want references of clients .. didn't want amateurs ... A very worthy big game animal to hunt .. I suggest that is the bottom line ...
