Hello,

I have a few balkan chamois specials available in Macedonia. These are all inclusive packages including trophy fee.
You need to fly to Skopje int. Airport where an english speaking guide or myself will pick you up.
Trophy quality in this area is quite good and you can expect a chamois with 95CIC, with a very good chance to find a bigger.

Hunt has to take place between 1.August and 31.December.

This is a special offer for AR-members in 2014:

3days hunting/4nights + 1 Chamois regardless of size
2400€

Extras:
- Tips
- Rifle (if you don't bring your own)
- Personal expenses (alcohol etc.)

I can arrange wild boar, mouflon and roe deer in the same area.

Best Regards

Dennis

I spent 6 months in Macedonia back in the 90s assigned to the UN forces. Wonderful country. The wine and food are fabulous as are the people. Hunting chamois might be a good reason to get back one of these days.

Best of luck booking the hunt.

Hi Dennis,
I am interested. A few questions, if you bring your rifle, is import fairly easy or like many European hunts, better to use the outfitter's rifle? A bit late for roe but how many extra days does one need to arrange to hunt mouflon?
Thanks,
Russell

Myself and Peter Anderson are doing this hunt with Dennis this fall. We're hitting 3 different countries (Slovenia, Macedonia, and Romania) for Alpine, Balkan and Carpathian chamois (and maybe a big boar or 3!

I am looking forward to all 3 hunts, Dennis!

Hi Russell,
rifle import is fairly easy. I need all rilfe details at least a week before you arrive. We'll get you the import permit and you have will no issues at all. I can arrange a rifle for you if you prefer that.

If you want Roe you have to come early August.
Chamois hunting starts 1.August and Roe is open to 30.September. Beginning of August is a good time for Roe deer!

Mouflon season starts 16th September. I would say you should do 5days if you want to do Chamois and Mouflon in 1 trip.
5days including chamois will be 2700€
Mouflon for 1000€ regardless of size.

The mouflons are only average quality in this area. You will not see monsters like in Croatia. They have quite a few wolves there and they like the mouflons to much Frowner

After that we can still get you a boar, Russell Wink

@Scott
So do I tu2 This will be an excellent trip!

Really... so a decent opportunity for a boar as well on a five day trip Dennis? Are the roe in this area better than the mouflon?

Hello Sir,
the mouflon is below medal quality, maybe up to bronce medal. It's really just an add-on.

Please let me know if you want to take a big mouflon. There is another area in Macedonia with big mouflon (high fence) or free range in Croatia.

I can get a fair priced second chamois permit for those who stay 4days.

Boar can be added to any hunt. Season is from October-31.December.

Cheers,

Dennis

Hello,
The area for chamois is unfenced. There are mouflons in this area. These are representive mouflons, no very big ones!
