Gentlemen, as I said in the title, I need help with a wolf hunt.
I just bought a hunting area of 20.000 hectares around 170 kilometers far from Bucharest and it seems the wolves population is very high and make a lot of damage to roe deer population.
So, I tought to transform this into a win-win situation.
To be more specific I will offer this hunt for only 500 euro to cover the cost of the gas, bait and legal paperwork but the hunter is responsable for accommodation and meals(about 60 euro for single room plus 3 meals per day).
The cost also includes transport from the airport and back and transport in the hunting area.
For any information please send me an email

Thank you!
First of all, this is not a commercial offer, the main reason is to have more hunting report from AR members Cool but also to reduce the wolves population. As I said, it is a win-win situation.
But you are right sir.
I need to supply more informations.
The hunting are is very large, 20.000 hectares, mainly mountains but also some high hills around 3-4ooo hectares.
The hunt is legal and we will provide the CITES certificate for export.
There is no trophy fee for wolf.
The area has roe deer, red deer and bears, too.
But for this animals I need to evaluate the numbers. The wild boars are abundant and you can hunt some for, let say, 500 euro trophy fee, but my main interest is wolf.
Or you can hunt chamois and if you have the chances to meet a wolf, you can shoot it for free.

It would be wise to offer some specific dates for hunters and let them choose from your offering.

Hi everyone,
I booked this hunt for November and paid my deposit ( for 3 Hunters ). I do belive I've been had = Money gone and no hunt. It is not my intention to have a go at this guy and his outfit - but buyer beware.

The situation in brief is that I have not been able to get hold of Marius since early August where he was very evasive. His e-mail account is closed, he does not answer his phone. It is a shame it ended like this, it does not do any off us hunters any good.
Am I pissed off - sure, but should have remembered the wise words from my mum many years ago - "if it sounds too good to be true - it most likely is".
Cheers and good hunting to all.

Marius owes me 500 Euros. He was going to send it starting Sept 3. So far, no money. He could have made this right when I quail hunted with his company in August. He chose not to and I knew I was in trouble as far as getting my money back then.

The last I heard from him was by PM on Sept 25 when he said he would transfer money "tomorrow". To date, no money.

The hunt was as expected, but I wouldn't send him any money in advance. I believe he is ethically challenged, as we say in the US. At this point, I don't expect to get any money from him. As huntfish said above, CAVEAT EMPTOR. You have been warned.

Too bad, I was already planning another hunt with them in Dec/Jan. Needless to say, that won't happen.

When considering US based operations of guides/outfitters, check and see if they are NRA members. If not, why support someone who doesn't support us? Consider spending your money elsewhere.

NEVER, EVER book a hunt with BLAIR WORLDWIDE HUNTING or JEFF BLAIR.

I have come to understand that in hunting, the goal is not the goal but the process.

Jerry, there is no Wolf hunting in Poland, they do have a good and healthy population, but no sports hunting. We will have a great hunt next year, and Wolf will be on my "wish list" for later.

There is some fantastic hunting in Romania - no doubt; and there are good outfitters, it is just a matter of finding them. But would appear there has been a few bad apples in and around Romania that has made a mockery of our sport and passion. I'm 750 Euro down on this one and a lesson richer.

From the US, I am able to access his website, for what that's worth. I hope this is just a temporary problem and Marius will, at least, make good on his hunting reservations, but, it doesn't look promising at this point.

It's 6:30 am in Romania, I just got back from the airport where I led our colleague with whom I hunted continuously from 28.09 until last night and I can say that I am pleased with how the day went. I have not had time to check my email and I heard there were problems with the site. Unfortunately any email account can be hacked by people. I suspect that is what happened after those fights gamehuntingromania company. Let's take a time:
huntfish- you said you bought your hunting in November. It is now October. Why do you say that you did not hunt? Any hunter knows that the wolf is an animal may not have to meet him in a life of a hunter. I can not say for 1.2 months before exactly where you will go. We have several places where you can hunt hunting wolf. The final decision we take 3.4 days before, depending on their activity.
gatogordo- I've explained before and after the hunt that our company does not return the deposit but remains valid for 2 years. However I said that the deposit will be refunded and will assure it will happen today. You must understand that most of the time I'm hunting. This week I have 3.4 days off. I promise I'll take care of payment and solving problems with the site. I think it is quite easy to accuse someone but you have to understand me . I take all the problems we have encountered in hunting or hotel. I'm not a person who sits all day in the office. I'm going with clients in the forest.
A return to the evening. Have a nice day everyone.

Marius, Good to know that you have had a good hunt recently - that is what it is all about.
I've not been able to get in touch with you, you have not answered by far most of my e-mails and only once did I mange to get you on the phone.
I have paid a deposit for an early Nov. 2014 hunt, so correct I have not hunted with you. However by not answering for a long time you have made it impossible to plan the hunt and book the flights. A situation none of us can be happy with. I did receive an e-mail from you this morning with a new contact detail - a @yahoo.com account and I sent a mail to that, only to get a delivery failure report saying that the account does not exist. There may be many reasons why things go wrong and does not work, I'm not to speculate on this.
I do hope you will be able to service your other clients and give them the good hunts they all deserve and have paid for.
I will suggest that you and I call off further discussion on this and say it is over - and you can then focus on the other hunts. We can then discuss in a different forum how we settle and close our (dis)agreement.
Cheers.

I'm not an expert in computers. We have contract with a company that takes care of the proper functioning of the site. I had no idea about these problems, because your email just didn't arrive to me.Please understand this situation, it could happen to anyone. Indeed I sent some test emails to contact@huntromania.com and sometimes they didn't arrive. From tomorrow I'll move everything to a different company. I say that all these problems occurred after my "discussions" with those from gamehuntingromania. I am sorry that you got angry at me but you must understand that I couldn't access my email contact@huntromania.com. For the future please use the email huntromania@yahoo.com, at least until we solve all the problems with the web site.
P>S> Gatogordo, i was at the bank today and they asked me the SWIFT code of your bank. They will try it also with that ABA code that you sent, tomorrow I'll have the confirmation

I'm sorry he's late but full season made me stay away from the city.
Regarding hunting wolf, hunters known how difficult is to hunt. You can walk for months without meeting him. Our colleague moostamer got lucky the first night. If we put the food in 3 places and you just shoot a wolf, it is hard to believe that the others you can still catch them in the same area. Need to move into another area. So we have several areas where we can hunt it. All hunters will receive trophies home accompanied by the necessary documents (CITES, hunting license, health certificate)

You did not answer my question .... IS not the first time for me in Romania ...so the area where we will be hunting is manage by a Hunting Club ...where is the closer town ???..if is not a secret...????
You said in your offer that you bought a hunting area ???? where is that or is this olso a secret ?
WHAT IS THE QUATA ???....because if you exceed quota in Romania will become an illegal hunt ...
the hunters must be informed about this !

Just so we can have all the facts to evaluate a criticism, does your occupation have anything to do with the hunting industry? Specifically, are you in any way associated with another hunting operation in Romania? Where do you live and how many times have you been to Romania hunting? Who did you hunt with and where is a hunt report?
