Brad is in the back of the truck with the trackers.

Kafue Lechwe occur in a different part of the Kafue and it would be a bit much to do both.

Looks as if the hunt will be last week of November if you can make it but can only let you know about the Roan nearer the date.

Guys,

I've been there. Your just not going to have a better opportunity for some of Africa's most sort after and unique species. Even on a 4x1 $600 a day is just a steal.

I hear pretty often "I'm going to wait for a deeply discounted deal" Well! Hello! This is it!

You mentioned the last week of November for this hunt- one thing to remember is US Thanksgiving- Nov 28th. Not only is this a big family traditional celebration, it is a VERY difficult time to book air, ie heaviest travel time of the year, bar none!!
Gojng to be tough for some US guys to break away....unless Mama comes along!!...and you serve Guinea Fowl with stuffing and cranberries for dinner that day!!
Cheers,

Granted Thanksgiving is tough for some to get away. In 2009 I took advantage of some season end pricing and hunted the week of Thanksgiving in the Caprivi. I booked the hunt and airfair on 4 to 6 weeks notice and it was the cheapest I have ever paid from Atlanta to J'burg. Connecting flights might be tough though.

BTW - I had impala chops for Thanksgiving that year. Wink

Andrew, I will send you a PM. I cannot tell for sure who is going and who is not. Also, good to see Adam Buske hunting with you. He stayed at my house several a few years ago with Bruce Watson. I would hunt with him anywhere that it is hot, but he cannot stand the cold. Ask him if he remembers Michigan in February.

Andrew,

I would suppose sitatunga quota is a bit tight but with swamp species being asked about and considering you are planning two groups of 4 and 10 days, and I figure the flats are somewhere between Lusaka and Royal Kafue, would red lechwe not be a possiblility?

Just sayin.

Regards and good luck!

George
