    Hi Loodt
Welcome to the forum. This forum is supported by serious no nonsense hunters.
They definitely do not take to people who are dishonest.

I have just got of the Phone with Jaap Pienaar, head of the Eastern Cape Department of Environmental affairs wildlife crime.

You have been advertising now for a few years without a valid OUTFITTERS licence or PH licence. You have only now recently got a 3 month temporary Outfitters licence.

To date you still do not have a valid PH licence yet you are advertising that YOU will be the PH on this Safari.

I also know that Tootabi Valley Safaris owner Gerrit du Preez (Beans) has sent you a lawyers letter that you are in copyright violation of his registered company , registerd in 2009.
    This letter you have ignored.

You were also sent a lawyers letter By Carl van Zyl of John X Safaris for copyright violation as you copied his website verbatim.

You are young and ambitious but in this trade you cannot step on the people around you to get ahead. I would send you a PM but you are hell bent on bucking the system.

stop advertising hunts, go do your PH, get your OWN name and start a legitimate business.

Thanks for posting this info. Everyone on the forum has to assume that the outfitters are advertising legally and it good faith. You see more of this happening and it's important that we call people on it as it pulls the excellent standards we have in the Eastern Cape down. Cheers

Everyone of us should bring to the open any shady character that is advertising hunts here.

We have far too many honest people making great offers to even entertain these sort of crooks.

JG, Bushwack was already posting on AH long before that eventful date.
    So your characterization is off.

You disagree with Bushwack's cancellation policy. Fair enough.
I don't like that type of cancellation policy any better than you do.

    He was not dishonest.
You and I both disagree with his business practices.

Did Bushwack break the law? NO!

If he has done something illegal let me know. You know where to find me.

If you want to ask questions about his cancellation policy in the thread that would be relevant.
If you have a desire to rant, do it here on AR or get a therapist! Smiler

I haven't seen Beans in a while and missed him when he was here in Houston this year. His cousin Andri Foxx and I did get to spend some time together though. I made some good friends in the East Cape, hell South Africa in general! You guys fit in real good with Texans. I just wish we where closer!

Sorry, but thats just not good enough. There is right and there is wrong. Morals are far more valuable than laws.

    Amen! Especially among REAL men!

And as there is no further comment from the original poster, we can all assume what we think is correct?

    Another crook has been exposed!?

Lots of new developments, he has now admitted he does not have any legal paperwork.

This now leaves him open to prosecution by the DEA. I have received a bunch of e-mails and phone calls from people who have dealt with him.
If anybody has received quotes or hunt offers via e-mail please forward those to me
    Cheers

    Dave,

Thank you for your involvement in this.

We need to see this sort of behavior put to an end, for the benefit of everyone.

    Absolutely not!

A young fellow who got his cart in front of his horse due to over-exuberance? Yes. Crook? No way.

I just returned from 10 days with Loodt and his outfit. I and my wife were supremely happy with the entire affair, as have been the half-dozen or so clients who were with him previous to us.

My entire hunt report is posted on another site. I don't want to post a link as I believe that is against Saeed's rules...so please PM me if interested.

Truthfully, I think I would have more respect for a guy engaging in outright thievery than I do for Bushwhack. I am sure there are plenty of totally dishonest and thieving operators out there who would still, even in all their crooked glory, not take money from a dying man. I don't think I have ever seen anything more shameful than what Bushwhack pulled.

Both Bushwack and "Tootabi" the impostor are big time on the "other" forum......

There will be no questioning of them there.

I have to disagree...at least in the case of Loodt at Tootabi. He got hammered over on the other site for his early mistakes. I think he also got hammered for some stuff that was not entirely justified. But when you open the door, sometimes the flood is not very descriminating.

He has made good on all his commitments and got all his ducks in a row and has had good success making clients happy. I think he has redeemed himself very well.

I do not know this Bushwack fellow so cannot speak to his situation.

I have purposely held off posting in this thread until after I had first-hand experience to speak from.
