HUNT #1: Exclusive-Use Arctic National Wildlife Refuge (ANWR) Area Trophy Dall Sheep Hunt:

This is a traditional, backpacking, spike-camp style Dall Sheep hunt and requires a hunter to be in very good physical condition. We have consistently had great success in this camp / area over the years and all of our Dall Sheep hunters in this area last year (2019) harvested beautiful rams and a beautiful Arctic Grizzly and wolf were also harvested.

1 opening on the second hunt (August 20th to September 1st) – 1x1 Fully guided, and filmed, 11 day hunt

Roundtrip Fly-in Fee from Coldfoot, AK into Camp: $1,100

Trophy fee on grizzly: $6,500

Hunt #2: Exclusive-Use Arctic National Wildlife Refuge (ANWR) Area Trophy Arctic Grizzly Hunt:

Over the years we’ve taken some beautiful Arctic Grizzly in this Exclusive Guide Use Area within the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge as additional species to be harvested during our Trophy Dall Sheep Hunts but we are now also offering a great hunt specifically for Arctic Grizzly as the hunters primary species. These bears have typically been in the 7.5' - 8.5' range with beautiful coloration ranging from the classic look of blonde bodies with dark legs to chocolate colored bears.

These are TRUE Arctic Grizzly, as they inhabit a region well away from the coastal areas of Alaska. This hunt is conducted out of our temporary base camp and while there is daily hiking involved, it’s not nearly as physically demanding as our Trophy Dall Sheep Hunts.

These "trophy fees" didn't exist a few years ago but they now seem to be more and more common. Expensive Alaska hunts were always justified by the fact there were no trophy fees.

Hunted dall sheep with Henry in August 2005. One of my most memorable abroad hunts that I still think of every day. Henry knows his area and business. I was still a learning hunter at a age of 45 at that time Beautiful landscape, the flying from Bettles to camp and back an adventure in it self, staying in Bettles on the way in and out and feel the athmosphere an adventure in it self also. But prices less than 50% of what it is now !

But quality dall sheep hunting the way mountian hunting should be - go for it if you can !
