Well I’m going in my Sheep area at a time frame that I’ve never done. I see a lot of dens in the fall in there but never been in there when the bears are rolling out! Figure it’s time. Wolf season is open as well.
So whenever I do a hunt that I haven’t done before I drop the price to cover my costs and time and go on an adventure. I’ve guided this area for 20 years, usually on Kodiak this time of year but clients didn’t draw any tags this year.
I’m anticipating time spent on snowshoes, mobile camps, light weight and some moving now and again. It will be backpacking type food and shelter.
Hunt dates are April 23-May 1.

Although i'm not a potential buyer I still thank-you for providing this opportunity to this community.

From reading your previous posts you seem to me to be a man of integrity and the type of ethics I admire.
So much so that I would not have a problem ditching my smokes for 8 days for this one.

Sheep & Grizzly in 1980.
Moose & Caribou in 1981
Brown Bear on Kodiak in 1985.

So, what I think is that, 32-37 years later; this is one hell of a smoking deal! I hope somebody can take advantage of it.

What a deal some one wanting a griz better jump on this deal. Not for old guys like me but someone needs this hunt.

Had a really hard look at the bank account but with the responsibility of wife and kids, I must pass on this opportunity. Have been putting money aside for a few years for a bear hunt but I'm not there yet. Hope you will have an opportunity like this again in a few years time... I really envy the person who grabs this!

Great offer! Just wish I wasn't booked out here in NZ with deer and tahr hunting.

I have the time and the $$ but had both knees replaced last summer. As a result I'm not going to be backpacking anywhere. Heck, 3-4 miles a day at SCI was plenty. Good luck selling this. Someone will get a great deal.

Client will do a report. Shot a great black wolf and saw four grizzly but none that would cooperate with conditions for us.
