Well fella's we just added another 6x Gen III night vision scope and two Advanced Armament suppressors to a couple of the .308's.

The Arsenal is like the state fair of Texas, getting bigger and better everyday.

I have plenty of hogs to shoot here at home with the doubles. This trip we will use provided AR's with night vision primarily for my son and Bal's (Bill73) son. Im certain the dads will have fun as well!!! Also, Bal and I plan to attend DRSS Jan 10 so there will be plenty of hog slaying with the doubles at this event!!

THC's January numbers were fair.
We closed the month with 81 hogs and 1 yote in 9 hunts. I like to keep the average in the double digits, but all in all not to bad.

And the new 640X480 thermal is producing some awesome video footage.

My brother and I hunted with THC in March and saw one group of pigs and killed three out of the group. We hunted directly across from their headquarters. The night vision equipment was very cool and I enjoyed "owning the night".

On the night we were there they had three guns available. A 308, a 243,and a 223. I would have preferred another 308 as I felt we would have had a better chance of stopping the running pigs with a bit more firepower. That said ,I made a long shot on a running pig at the back of the pack and killed him DRT. So a perfect shot with the little guns will do just fine but I suspect a couple more pigs may have got away with less than perfect body shots.

We seldom get to choose
But I've seen them go both ways
And I would rather go out in a blaze of glory
Than to slowly rot away!
