Is is possible to take a Hippo and Buff on this 7 day hunt? What is TF for Hippo?

we can add hippo @ trophy fee of $ 4500 on this deal.......to do it all and some fishing may be wise to add 3 days or so.makes it more worthwhile

Is the hunt only for 2011 or could it be booked for 2012? How many days extra to add tuskless? Would a hunt sometime between May and July be a good time to come? Thanks.

2012 is fine. For 2011 there would be a 3 day upgrade for tuskless, OR an increased T/F for the elephant if the hunt is taken on 7 days. If the hunt is booked for 2012, a small deposit to hold is all that is required. The later the better as the area opens up and the buff become easier to get to, tuskless, any time is fine, in fact the early hunts are sometimes the best, ask Bill Campbell

YUP! Pls see the hunt reports below, from 2009 and 2010.

Average buff 35" plus hard bossed ( late season hunts produce larger spreads )
Average sable 39" plus ( if you are able to walk bigger probable )

For sable
Add 3 days @ $ 850/ day
Sable trophy fee $ 4500
Water buck $ 1850
Zebra $ 1100
Bushbuck $ 850
Kudu $ 1100
Impala $ 350
Warthog $ 420

Is it possible to buy two of these packages and put them back to back? In addition to the buffalo I would be interested in sable and tuskless. How are the eland in this area?

Yes, you could take two packages and hunt for 14 days, as well as add a sable for trophy fee only. Tuskless would be available only as per remaining quota. There are good eland in the South, the north is pretty tough due to the thick jesse.

sorry to miss you Mart. this is the first time i haven't gone to the convention in the last 15 years. let my SCI membership lapse last month as an ethical stand against the Out Of Africa Adventurous Safaris bullshit that SCI tolerated/condoned every since they were thrown out of Zim years ago. drink a cold one for me and give my regards to Bruce. hope to see you this Sept or Oct if the finances stay positive.
