Aleutian Islands Nov 10-Dec 20 ADAK: Sea ducks, Puddle and Diver hunt combo only $3900 p/p-----7 day trips-6 full days guided hunting weather permitting, 7 nights lodging, 3 meals daily breakfast, lunch, dinner with pickup at airport and return at end of hunt, packaging & freezing of your ducks untill you leave, arrival is between 2-6pm the night before your hunt starts. Birds we normally harvest are: Pacific Eider, Harlequin, Old Squaw (Longtail duck), Pintail, Mallard, Greater Scaup (Broadbill), Red Breasted Merganser. Secondary but normally taken: Common/Black and Whitewing Scoter, American Widgeon, GW Teal, Northern Shoveler, Common Goldeneye, Bufflehead. On a good day: Eurasian Widgeon, Aleutian GW Teal, Lesser Scaup (Bluebill) and Canvasback. An exceptional day might yeild King Eider, Surf Scoter, Barrows Goldeneye, Pochard, Smew, Tufted duck or Falcated Teal but don't count on it. Willow Ptarmigan is a usual upland bird taken. Spots are very limited, so contact me soon if your planning such a trip. Also, we will continue to run our most noteworthy hunt for King Eiders on the Bering Sea (Island X).
