Due to health reasons, our client had to return home early from his recent safari. We are offering a trophy Sitatunga hunt as follows:

10 day hunt @ US$ 1,000 per day (plus VAT) = US$ 11,500
Sitatunga trophy fee @ US$6,500

Although most of this hunt will be from machans (a platform erected in a tree), the client will need a fair fitness level to move around in the papyrus and reeds to get to the machans. The expected shooting distance while walking will be 50 – 70 yards, and from the machan 70 – 300 yard shots will be required.

Available dates for this hunt are from 22 September until 21 October, and from 2 – 15 November 2025.

Burchell Zebra @ US$ 1,500
Common Reedbuck @ US$ 1,500
Duiker @ US$ 500
Warthog @ US$ 750

When I hunted with Karl 7-8 times in the past you had the option to fly into Katima Mulilo( limited to certain days of the week from Windhoek) or into Kasane which has multiple daily flights from Joberg. Hope this helps.

The flight information above is accurate with the exception of the flight to Kasane from Johannesburg - there is one daily flight between Johannesburg and Kasane.

Transfers between the Kasane / Katima Mulilo airports and our camp are free of charge. No other 'fees' payable besides those in the ad above.

We do have firearms of all calibres for you to use, but if you bring your own firearm I can assist with the 'in-transit' permit through Botswana ahead of the hunt, and provide the paperwork you will need for a temp import permit for Namibia. If you overnight in Johannesburg you will require a temp firearm import permit for South Africa as well, and I can put you in touch with an efficient service in Johannesburg.
