Leopard Hunting In Limpopo Prov, South Africa

• This permit must be made out to a client/hunter within 1 month, and only that person may hunt it.
• The hunt must take place between now and the end of the year.

The price is $13,500.00 and is structured as follows:

• Day fees for 14 days (excluding the arrival and departure days) $5600.00,
• Trophy price of $6000.00
• Permit cost and bait animals $1900.00

To book the hunt, the client needs to pay a deposit of $7500.00. I need this to be paid before I put his name on the permit as once there is a name on it I cannot change it, and we lose the permit. We need to get all the info to the Dept. of Conservation by the 6th of August to give them enough time to make sure that everything is correct.

Cheers,

Anton le Roux

I hunted with Anton leRoux in 2007&2008. Both times I was there I was bowhunting and saw a lot of leopard sign in the form of spoor, half eaten animals and some old carcasses hung high in the branches of trees.

Anton guided me to a few animals that made the top 10 in SCI for bowhunters. I can highly recommend him.

I have had other friends of mine hunt with him and all of them speak highly of him, his operations, and his family.

Would I hunt with him again? As soon as I scrap the money together!

Do not hesitate to contact me for a reference.

Sincerely,

Matt Moore

Is this a CITES exportable leopard? I thought SA leopard permits had to be issued by the end of March each year. Great deal by the way.

Trust only those who stand to lose as much as you do when things go wrong.

Yes Don, this is a CITES exportable leopard. You are correct the permits have to issued by March, however there is a back up list of approved outfitters in case the earlier hunts are unsuccessful. That is the reason why we have so little time to finalise the booking.

As I said before, If I could scrape the money together I would be there.

Anton also picked me up at the airport and dropped me back off at no extra charge. I would bet that you could hunt other animals (at additional cost) as well in the area during the day as long as you were good to go (not too tired) for leopard.

One of the BEST parts of hunting with Anton was meeting his family. You get a once in a lifetime opportunity to meet people from another culture.

I can also say without a doubt that the best animal I have ever taken was with Anton. I shot a Kudu that was over 62". I would be happy to try and post pictures and honestly...none of them do the animal justice.

Cheers,

Matt Moore

Outfitters that got their tags in March are not allowed on the back up list again. Only the guys that did not draw goes on the back up list in numerical sequence as they got drawn.

Time is running out and we have not yet had a firm offer for this hunt. I am prepared to drop the trophy price rather than lose this opportunity. Can any one make me an offer on the trophy price, currently this price is $6000. Please contact me at anton@oneononesafaris.co.za and we can discuss it.
