Yes. It is a GREAT deal! Where are all those guys who constantly complain on AR about the high cost of Tanzania hunting & air charters???

In past few years we have been 100% on leopard, cape buffalo, sable, kudu, eland. It can't get any better than that.

Very reasonable daily rates...non-padded trophy fees & air charters...free ground transport...free rifle...free Government royalties...free trophy handling...free drinks...free Cape Buffalo Trophy fee.

With an established, long time Outfitter (not fly by night, or new operation).

Yes, its certainly an excellent offer.

A little expensive but if a fellow can get a leopard and three good buff then it is not so bad.It is a good deal if they get a lion.

There's some obvious confusion on Shootaway's part. Since Tanzania does not allow the shooting of Female Lions he naturally assumes that one cannot shoot Lion at all.
One however can shoot males of 6+ years of age as the rest of us are aware.
It's a physiological term called "narrow funneling"...it causes one to only see through their narrow lens.. It's been know to cause Cow Buffalo to perish in a hail of open sighted gunfire unnecessarily .

If there is one thing he does know it is shooting females. I would bow to his body of work in that area.

Shootaway:

MY POINT: This is a super reasonable price for a top quality East African "Fair-chase" hunt, with a whole lot of "Freebies" thrown in (not a guaranteed zoo "hunt"). Please compare to other 21 Day Full bag safaris in Tanzania with reputable outfitters and you will soon see.

YOUR POINT:???????? Its anybody's guess.

Shootaway has already deleted the post in which he made it abundantly clear that he does indeed desire and expect a guaranteed "zoo" hunt for his hard-earned dollars.

He's actually one of the most quotable posters on AR...if only so that there is some proof of the completely outrageous BS he posts when his mind is in freespool mode.

Definitely not a zoo hunt, but almost a cape buffalo ranch by the amount of buff I saw there in two weeks

Yes, my friend. In the dry season hunts it does almost resemble a zoo...doesn't it? Big dugga bulls just standing around looking at us. I have literally chased buffalo out of camp, had to beep the horn many times to get them off the road. Its a fun & relaxing hunt.

We had a old European client 2 years ago. Federico asked him how was his safari? He said "Fantastic!" (he got all the animals he wanted) the only one complaint he had was that he couldn't sleep much at night what with buffalo herds next to his tent, plus noisy elephant, hippo, and lions roaring too! A good complaint to have though, I think.

Funny, I read all the time about guys spending a lot more money on a hunt, tracking & tracking "in the jess" every day......maybe finally shooting a single buffalo at the end of the hunt.

Not sure why no one is snapping up this great opportunity?? We also have a late season buffalo hunt like yours offered on AR right now. A couple chaps thinking it over, but its still available.

We are 100% recent past success on buffalo, leopard, sable, kudu & most plains game. Yes, plenty of cape buffalo in Kilwa!

This is an absolutely incredible offer, and anyone wishing to hunt Tanzania on a budget should jump on it.

I have a question, though.

Why is the incredibly low price??

Saeed, Thanks for your kind words, and for hosting such a great forum like AR. With only 2 to 3 months left before this safari starts, we decided to reduce it more.

We believe its better to make a smaller profit (and put our great team of staff to work)...than to leave in unfilled. We realize too, that the world economy is in rough shape. Most TZ outfitters bookings are way down (whether they admit it or not). But most still flatly refuse to drop prices to compete with Zim & other cheaper safari destinations!

We would also like to get more clientele from AR. So far, we have only had one client through AR, (hunted last year) and he was completely happy & successful (he posted a hunt report). We want more clients to come home & post positive hunt reports & photos of nice trophies.

Human nature is funny: if we try to sell at our list price... some folks on AR constantly complain about Tanzania's "jacked up charters & overpriced daily rates". So we reduce it a bit, and they say "decent price, but no great deal here". But then one drops the price lower yet, then they may think "what the hell's wrong with it"? Its just human nature I guess.

Rest assured: at this discounted price, our client will still enjoy the very same safari & treatment as a full paying client would.

Example: Two years ago we sold the highest priced safari in SCI auction ($51K...with no freebies). The buyer said he had hunted the year before with a well known TZ competator (who's safari he complained about). He loved his safari with us, and bought another 21 day the next year. He stated that he could get two good safaris with Federico for the price of one expensive safari with the other company (with whom he was hunting leopard & buffalo...and did not see either one!) He got his leopard, several nice buffalo & PG with us, (and enjoyed two wonderful hunts). BTW: He told me our staff, PH, food, camps, block etc were "As good, or better".

So....

You don't always get what you pay for in this business.

Sorry about the length of my ramblings. but hope I explained it well.

It has nothing to do with treatment or food.IMO one could get better treatment and food on a 1000 dollar a week all inclusive vacation to Cuba than on a 50 000 safari. It is all about producing-you produce and the client pays.

Degrading the quality of threads in other sections of the forum with your drivel is bad enough, but this gent has posted in the "Hunts Offered" section of AR trying to sell a hunt, and has almost universal approval from everyone who has read the offer...and then you had to come along. You post crap, then delete and modify it as the thread progresses, and then finally when you are called out you respond with a goofy rolling smiley-face. Seriously, why not just get a tattoo on your forehead that says "I am a forum troll!" and call it good?

Cuba vs. Africa?!?!? What the hell? You're right...don't go to Africa...go to Cuba instead. You'll be better off and happier. So will everyone else...at least, everyone else in Africa...Cuba, maybe not so much.

Your past safaris was bad food & nothing to shoot...really??!

We offer: Great food (see we even Feed the Trolls), great service, hot weather, free drinks, clean beaches, friendly people, (no sexy girls on safari, but you can for sure find one in Dar). Just like Cuba!

My clients have the opposite problem: They gain weight from all the great cooking, and some needed to wire home for more trophy fee money!

The guys are right: Shootaway, please take your nonsense, worthless comments to another area of AR. Ok, We all get it: you hate African safaris. No need to waste your time in a place that's selling African safaris.
