This is a baited night hunt but no light is necessary as it will be twilight all night. Blinds are large and can allow 3 people comfortably. Accommodations can be made to allow the client to snooze if necessary.

Baits will be 100 yards or more from the blinds allowing the bears to come to the bait totally unaware of the hunters.

Tony will start baiting as soon as it is allowed and has had 6 successful season's. Expectations are for a bear squaring 7"-7.5" but bigger are not uncommon. Shot opportunity should be 90% plus.

This is not a physical hunt at all. You'll be taken to the bait site with your guide by ATV so there is almost zero walking involved.

Accommodations are in the Alpine Creek Lodgehttps://alpinecreeklodge.com/ that is right in the hunting area there in Unit 13. The lodge is about 250 miles North of Anchorage. Tony will pick you up in Anchorage and drive you to the lodge at no additional cost.

Activities can be arranged for the non-hunting guest to include fishing and ATV trail rides.

I've done this hunt with Tony and everything that Mark has indicated in this post is correct.

I haven’t done this particular hunt, but did a caribou hunt outfitted by Tony Lee. Great guy whom I would not hesitate to hunt with again.

Tony is a great guy as is everyone at the lodge which is very nice. I saw five bears within the first hour of the hunt taking mine within that hour. Anyone taking this hunt should have an opportunity for a nice grizz.

If I weren't committed during this hunt, I would be booked by now.
Friend of mine hunted the adjoining blocks to Tony's, and Tony did the fly-in for him. Same bears... always successful, and frankly bigger than stated in the ad!!
I am offended by the observer fees at the lodge!!... but I will bet that could be negotiated!!
Go for it!!
Please advise if these dates have any wiggle room, week earlier or later, preferrably later??

I have not much to add to this post, but I live in Alaska. I have stayed at that lodge a couple times and its a great spot with amazing views. Greyling fishing is very good up there as well.
