We are excited to offer this hunt for one fully exportable trophy elephant at US$ 33,500!

Included in the offer is 1 arrival day, 10 hunting days (full board), 1 departure day, concession fees and one exportable management elephant trophy. The hunt is limited to the elephant; should you wish to add other species, additional hunting days will have to be added.

As this is offered on a normal trophy hunt permit, the elephant trophy is fully exportable, just at a reduced the price, since our aim is to manage the bull population of elephants without undue pressure on the the "normal" trophy bulls. Tusk weight of between 35 and 45 pounds can be expected, and we may also shoot a broken tusked bull. (See photos for some examples of bulls that would have qualified on this permit.)

The hunt will be outfitted by Ndumo Safaris Namibia, in one of our own camps in the Caprivi of Namibia. Dates will determine the camp and the PH who will guide this hunt, but should be either Karl Stumpfe, Wayne Cilliers or a trusted freelance PH.

We have a few open dates - contact Colleen on admin@huntingsafaris.net / WhatsApp +27730931682, or Karl on karl@huntingsafaris.net / WhatsApp +264811285416 to reserve a date.

If you take an elephant day 1 or day 2 or whenever early, are you saying that you are required to buy extra days in order to start hunting plains game? Is this a licensing requirement? If so, do you have to wait until your initial 10 days are over before hunting plains game? How many extra days must be bought? I’m just not familiar with this circumstance, and could use some clarification. Good price on the elephant hunt. Super destination. GLWS

Plains game left unsold will be on your permit and you can hunt that immediately after getting elephant down. It is just a way we are trying to sell our optional quota as well.

Great deal with a great guy!

Easy. Fly to Atlanta... Delta to Jo'Burg, overnight at African Sky. Fly to Kasane Botswana. Then Karl's guy picks you up and drives you to camp and helps you clear guns. Even easier is to use Karl's guns and just fly in. He has VC doubles and some fine bolt guns as well...

Fyi… last year I went directly through Capetown and right to Windhoek with like a two hour or so layover. You have to get to Windhoek to fly to Kasane anyway.
I will add, however, that even though my bags and rifle were checked straight through (both ways) that the airlines Fu kd up and offloaded my gun which caused me issues and significant undo stress.

Yes, it was United. The whole ticket was United but the Capetown to Windhoek was operated by Airlink.
The issue was pure Human Error. They dropped the gun and ammo case on me into Capetown baggage claim (again both ways). My bags were checked through…but they mishandled my guns and ammo.
Thankfully the police where you do the gun permits and clear them (which is RIGHT there in baggage claim like 30 feet away) were helpful. I showed them where the transfer tag was clearly on the case. I simply signed a ledger and barely made my connections as a result
It could have ended badly…but didn’t. It definitely wasn’t a 5 minute explanation either! (No bribes required fyi)

I actually flew AirLink directly to Kasane from Jo'burg. If you fly to Windhoek I think there is a small airstrip you can fly into closer to Karl's camp in the Caprivi... Katima, I think.

Katima is right… I get the two confused. Kasane is in Botswana which is a different mess landing with guns.
Katima is where he would want to go and you fly from Windhoek

Be aware that WDH to Katima flights are 4x/ week, not daily. But it skips having to clear a rifle in Botswana and Namibia both….
