After just under one month in Namibia visiting and hunting I am extremely please to offer you gentlemen a hunt for trophy leopard/plainsgame. The outfitter I represent is not from any of the big shows and is largely not a part of the USA client scene. His hunting area is vast and he is blessed to have a variety of different habitats ranging from mountains to savanna and all within a half hour drive from his house! Success rate over the last 15 years is at 96% and he definitely has a system for putting clients on mature cats!

Cost of the entire hunt is 25,500 USD.

Hunt includes:

14 days

1 Trophy Male Leopard Tag and hunting permit

3 delicious meals a day

Cooler box with ice drinks and snacks

Accommodations , laundry, and daily room cleaning

Licensed PH

Hunting vehicle

Skinning and trophy preparation

Plains game trophy permit

All pre baiting before hunter arrives

Additional trophy fees

Kudu 1800

Oryx 600

Eland 1800

Red hartabeest 850

Warthog 350

Duiker 260

Steenbok 260

Blue wilderbeest 950

Black wilderbeest 1200

Impala 550

Black faced impala 2200

Hartmanns mountain zebra 1200

Burchals Zebra 1100

Waterbuck 2309

Blesbok 800

Springbok 800

Damara dik dik (limited quota) 2200

Klipspringer 1800

This leopard hunt requires the deposit of 10,000 USD to secure dates, partial day fees, leopards export permit and the pre baiting and monitoring of bait sites before hunter arrival.

60 days before hunt commences 8500 usd deposit for the remaining daily rates , time and gas for daily of checking baits and the baits themselves.

30 days before hunt commences a refundable leopard deposit of 7000 USD will be sent to me and held in trust until the leopard is shot or wounded.

Deposit of 10,000 USD is non refundable but transferable to the following year within 12 months of original dates.

If the leopard somehow was not actually taken then 7000 USD would be deducted from total hunt price.

This hunt is is to be scheduled during the prime months of May and June which also coincides with the kudu rut! Due to my outfitters success rates, dates will be made based on the time frame he chooses for best results! He has a system in place that works and he is not willing to break with his methods and reduce his success percentages!! If you’ve ever dreamed of hunting and actually shooting a big Tom this is your chance! First deposit secures this hunt of a lifetime. After hunting with this outfitter I can attest to the high number of animals in his area and the trophy quality. His dik dik population is something to be seen and if your keen I promise you a beauty!

If you’re interested in this offer please do send me a WhatsApp as it’s the best method of reaching me!

Andrew my advice is not to sell this hunt as if things go south it would be a duplicate of my Luangwa fiasco thread

Hello , me and my father hunter with Mr. Baldry some time ago when he had his Royal Kafue area. If I remember correctly we had booked and paid for a 12 day buff, sable sitatunga hunt but after only 5 days we had just about everything we wanted and ended up only hunting 7 out of the 12 days! Andrew refunded me the daily rates that weren’t used back and we had a safari of a life time. I’m thinking he’s just trying to warn me to be careful selling hunts for others and not to get burnt. I’ve crossed my T’s and dotted my I’s but always appreciate the advice lol.

Unbelievably this prime hunt is still available and would absolutely love to have an AR member go and write up a proper report when it’s all done!!

Thanks

A non refundable deposit might be keeping people away.

I will never go on any non refundable deposit hunt.

Hello Saeed and thanks for chiming in!

The logic behind the non refundable 10g deposit (although transferable) is because of the costs involved initially. There is the leopard license fee from the govt which isn’t cheap. After the client has placed his deposit it also accounts for all pre baiting from the time of deposit until the hunter arrives up to a max of 3 months!! This is as I’m sure you’re aware, a huge amount of time, gas and bait that also costs a fair bit. To be absolutely clear, if a hunter places his deposit and some unforeseen circumstances arise, my outfitter would still be accommodating and roll everything over to the following year despite needing to eat some of these initial costs. We are trying to be as openly transparent with our potential clients so they can feel absolutely confident in booking. There’s a reason his success rates at 96% for so many consecutive years.

Hopefully this explanation helps anyone on the fence!

Totally understand why you are doing it.

Still not a hunt I would go on.

Baiting can be priced separately.

And if the client agrees for pre-baiting that is fine.

But any offer that requires non-refundable payments is the one I personally avoid.

You are not hiding anything, which is great.

This has gone full retard, now even hunt deposits should be fully refundable? So, a company holds a date for you, takes their product off the market and you decide at the last minute for whatever reason to not go, leave them hanging and they should refund your deposit? You can't run a business that way. Consider this a free bump

Anytime an outfit asks for a NONREFUNDABLE payment, except for a deposit to keep a specific date for you, tied with a time scale, I get worried.

A non refundable deposit, which must be claimed back several months before the start of the hunt, is fine and understandable.

Anything else, to me, is unacceptable.

Each of you of course are at liberty to accept anything you wish.

AR MAN, good luck in selling your hunt. I hope all goes well.

Saeed, I've always thought deposits were non-refundable when I placed them on hunts. That said, using our Mozambique Leopard hunt as an example, I learned every outfit likely enforces the rules in a fluid manner.

Derek Littleton and Luwire refused to keep our deposits when Joyce's first cancer prevented us from hunting in 2014. The offer was a full refund or to hold the hunt in limbo for a later scheduled date. We did not think it fair for Luwire to refund the deposit for an event outside their control so the compromise of delaying to a later date seemed a good compromise. We had a remarkable hunt with Derek in 2015.

My point is, I think every situation is different and some outfits will treat certain circumstances differently.

Cheers
J&J

Thanks all you guys for chiming in and adding to this fantastic opportunity at leopard. The outfitter and myself have looked closely as to how we can offer the best prices hunt without compromising on the quality or actual obtaining your leopard. I think most can appreciate the non refundable deposit ( transferable to next year though) rational. With that being said we are not heartless individuals and if something truly horrible happens and it’s not just say work obligations or something like that we would definitely look at that with serious consideration!

Frostbite, I’m so incredibly happy Joyce is again fit as a fiddle and you guys are enjoying life to its fullest!! Such a wonderful outcome Smiler)))

If that is the case, he is not allowed to post any offer!

Only agents can post hunt offers.

Helping a friends is not!

The fact he will hold the trophy fee in escrow per the ad I would think he's representing the outfitter.

Fairgame, the cost of the leopard tag depends on the year and what the government dictates plus if it is a tag he had to purchase from another outfitter. If the leopard is not taken then there is a 7000 USD refund as per the description in the offer.

Thanks
