Any info on the size of bears one could expect to take on this hunt?

Aeroflot has Premium Economy tickets from LAX to Petropavlovsk Kamchats for $1595.

It does take you two days to get there but it would be about 10 hours if they went west instead of east.

Most all of their bears measure 9+ feet and 4 of the 5 last Spring did. The one exception was 8'6" due to being a beautiful and unusual silver tipped bear. It was the hunters 2nd bear as he had already taken a 9'6" boar. Thornell shot a 10' Bear on the first morning within the first hour of his hunt.

We also have Fall bear hunts for $11,000 USD. You'll hunt along the rivers where big bears congregate to feast on Salmon. Can be any exciting hunt with many bears to look at.

Snow sheep are available as well. Prime dates are August 1st until September 10th. I recommend taking two weeks due to weather being unpredictable. Average rams run 32-36 inches but each year there are 38-40 inchers taken.

Spring 2020 & 2021 is sold out. I'm booking into Spring Bear in 2022 currently. Fall 2019 & 2020 have spots remaining. Your hunting the Salmon run along the rivers. A second Bear may be added at a cost of $5,000. If you finish your hunt early, you can fish for Salmon.

Snow Sheep (Kamchatka) hunts are available: $16,900. Dates run August 1 through September 10.

Is there a reason the Fall hunt is priced lower than the Spring?

Of the two seasons, is there one that has a notably higher success rate than the other?

Yes, in the Spring there is a lot of snow. It requires snow mobiles to travel. In the Fall, there is no snow and you spot and stalk the Salmon rivers. Less expense to the Outfitter/Owners, less cost to our hunters.
Both seasons still boast 100% and those who desire a second bear get one so far.

Do you have any fall 2019 or 2020 dates?

I have openings for Fall 2019 and Fall 2020. August 20 and lasts till the end of October. Cost is $11,000. Observer rate is $2,500 in the Fall hunts. A second bear can be taken for $5,000.

We usually hunt Bears near lakes and rivers as there is a lot of Salmon coming up to spawn. Also you can find them on the tundra feeding on berries during daytime hours.

The average trophy size is 8-9 feet. But there are Bears over 9 and even 10 feet. And we have a chance to find these monsters.

We provide your accommodation in nice cabins with every convenience (heating system, electricity, restroom). Also there are kitchens, dining room, hot showers and banya (Russian sauna) in the camp.

Recommended trip duration 8-10 days.
