Hunt special #1: Due to getting access to additional quota in both Kambako and in the core area of the Niassa Reserve that needs to be used before the end of the hunting season (30th Nov), I am able to offer the following discounted hunts:

Available dates for all the below hunts are:

3rd – 14th September

28th Sept – 15th November

1. Community Quota hunts to be conducted within the core area of the Niassa Reserve.

-4 x buffalo/Sable hunts

-This is a NON hunting area which Kambako has been given special permission to hunt 4 buffalo/Sable hunts in.

-The benefits of the hunt go to the local & closest communities to the area. This is why the hunt is cheaper than normal.

-As it has not been commercially hunted previously, Kambako feels sure we will get some very excellent trophies out of the area.

-The camp is a very simple tented camp but it is comfortable and has water, fridges, normal camp food and drinks.

-After shooting the buffalo and sable, the client can transfer to the Kambako camp to hunt plains game at normal gov't licences and trophy fees

- COST of the safari - $16,500! (normal price $25,450)

This includes:

·1 Hunting licence

·1 Firearm licence

·Daily fees for 10 days

·Buffalo and Sable

·Charter into Kambako and back to Pemba

This does not include:

·Additional animals shot/wounded & lost

·PH/camp staff gratuities

Just curious:

Why are the first two non-exportable to the US?? Does that mean they are exportable to the rest of the world?? Not criticising, just don't know the rules... Confused

Thanks!

Thank you Anton. Plans are in motion to sort through the CITES requirements so that ivory can be imported into the US but I wouldn't hold my breath too long. If there's any chance at all I would say 2 years from now, but that may only be a dream. There are giant tuskers in Moz but unfortunately, US Hunter's are not allowed to import the ivory. Frowner

So did anyone take advantage of this deal to hunt one of the greatest "non" sport hunted wildernesses left in Africa?
