bisonhunter1Sable hunting
So I'm looking for general info and some specific pricing information about a possible Sable hunt in South Africa. I've hunted in Africa before and this is the next animal on my possible list. I 've perused many websites of companies, talked with many folks at local outdoor show venues including some PH from South Africa. Prices seems all over the place, both from "package" deals to day rates and individual trophy fees.
Since there is lots of info available thru AR, I'm asking the question here about what or whom I might have missed and see what directions I can be pointed too. this hunt will likely NOT take place until 2016 at the earliest so bombard me with info here.
Life is how you spend the time between hunting trips.

A.DahlgrenMay I ask why are you just looking into SA?
I think you should look into Zim or maybe even better Moz for a hunt after Sable. I think Guy W. had a good "deal" for sable. Probably better price and free range IMHO.

Maybe even better Zambia!

Apparently I shot the smallest one taken on the property since hunting started there.

bisonhunter1Well to all that answered and want to steer me in another direction, that's your perogitive but it didn't provide me with any usefull data. I have my own reasons asking about a SA hunt, nothing I really care to share because for each reason or thought I may give I'm sure I'll get a counter arguement and that gets me no where in my search for info. It's not like I'm an Afican hunt rookie, I've been across the pond to Africa there a few times and have hunted both high fence and free range. While I may not have as many trips as some of you out there, I still had fun and am looking at one more possible trip (have to get around the wife roadblock too).
Frostbit thats a magnificent looking animal.
Jaco H, I'll get a email of to you soon to see what you have to offer.
