7 DAY CROCODILE HIPPO HUNT IN MOZAMBIQUE FOR 2012

Hunt 100 miles of the mighty Zambezi river concession to help local villagers with their man eating crocodile problems. You get to hunt and fish, going after the crocodiles each day – you are allowed to shoot 2 per hunter and then get to keep one as a trophy skin – you also get to take a hippo and fishing for Africa’s Tigerfish is not to be missed.

This trip is best suited for 2 or more hunters, preferably 4 hunters as this helps eliminate more of the problem Crocodiles – beasts in excess of 15 foot have been creating havoc along the Zambezi edge with local villagers – taking not only livestock but at least 50 people a year!

2×1 per hunter is $8,900
1×1 per hunter is $9,800

inclusive of the 2 Croc’s per hunter, Hippo, government licenses, transport to and from camp, meals, beverages, PH, staff etc.

This is not a luxury safari – all accomodation is in comfortable but basic safari tents with one shared ablution block with hot shower and long drop toilet for the camp. All other services are provided – meals, soft drinks, laundry, cleaning etc.

Please note this is NOT a Problem Animal Control (PAC) hunt – we just worded it this way to make it sound more dangerous and interesting! – it is fully legitimate safari with NiassaLand Safaris LDA and you are allowed to export all your trophies.

What friend wouldn't want this little gem in his or her stocking!

Rhyme of the Sheep Hunter
May fordings never be too deep, And alders not too thick; May rock slides never be too steep And ridges not too slick.
And may your bullets shoot as swell As Fred Bear's arrow's flew; And may your nose work just as well As Jack O'Connor's too.
May winds be never at your tail When stalking down the steep; May bears be never on your trail When packing out your sheep.
May the hundred pounds upon you Not make you break or trip; And may the plane in which you flew Await you at the strip.

Fellas, we hunt Moatize and Changara District Tete, Province for Hippo and Croc. My partner Graham Cawood has long standing relationship with the MOA in Tete, Province for culling crocs. Perhaps some of you have seen the article in the African Gazette? If you have not ping me and I will forward a PDF. These are legit hunts.

The nearest airport is Tete International which has daily flights to Joburg.

Our "concession" or "community game ranch" is located 3.5 hours out of Tete. Regardless of where you hunt we provide all travel from the airport and back.

We can combine DG or PG hunts with the Hippo/ Croc as travel between each locale is within roughly 4 hours.

Charl, I believe you had a conversation with my partner. I hope your questions were answered in full. Sorry to hear about your issues with trespassers this last season. That would piss us off as well.

I always find this an odd statement and I have never yet had to legitimise my hunting?

Would be nice if you could answer Charle's simple inquiry. And what about some GPS coordinates? What is the concession called? Duration of lease etc.

Nice website by the way.
