Elephant Bull hunts.
I have two exportable elephant bulls available, and am selling them on 8 day hunts as non export hunts for $13,400 each.


8 x $650/ day ........................................................$ 5,200
Elephant..................................................................$ 7,000
Tags, Tax, Transfers................................................ $ 1,200
Total......................................................................... $13,400

If the hunter wants to keep the ivory and export it then there will be only a $2,600 charge. Total $16,000
Other game can be taken at trophy fee prices, and due to the "Cecil" saga we have to charge $50/day for a National parks scout to attend the elephant hunt but once the elephant is down he goes back.
The hunt can be done as a 14 day 2 x 1 hunt.....

14 Days x 475/day each ......................................$ 6,650
Elephant.................................................................$ 7,000
Tags, Tax, & Transfers............................................$ 1,200
Total........................................................................$ 14,850 Ivory can be exported for $2,600 extra.

Other game is available on our quota and can be taken at our price list prices.
Hippo and Croc....$4000 x 1
Kudu .....................$1500 x 1
Zebra.....................$1000 x 4
Klipspringer...........$ 800 x 1
Duiker.....................$ 300 x 1
Impala....................$ 300 x 6
Warthog.................$ 400 x 1
Bushpig..................$ 300 x 5
Hyena.....................$ 800 x 2
Other cats and jackals baboons and monkeys etc.
Dates...anytime this year.

Does anyone know of any legal way to take this elephant now and wait until export opens again? Seems like a waste to not get the ivory home.

Rastaman you should own the ivory depending upon what type of hunt you do. So the choice should be yours... Store it at a taxidermist in his vault. Or at a friends place. Or export it to a country that allows you to import it to.

Not accurate. If the ban is lifted there will no imports of ivory taken during the ban.

It certainly does matter. I am sure plenty of elephant hunters have second homes in other countries where import is allowed.

Hi Jeff, is that written in stone? I have not heard that and the idea was that if F&WL found their policy to be wrong they would open it up from the original ban date. you may know something I don't.

I am keeping ivory for my 2014 hunters who came and hunted with me and will export it should the ban be lifted and opened for all ivory. Seee the post and reply to Bwana Bunduki.
