If you love waterfowl hunting, you know you have to be where the birds are if your going to have much success. Everyone I know that loves "duck" hunting talks about Canada and how great it is. This is true! We all know someone who has hunted there; we've seen the TV shows, the outdoor shows, talked to the guides, viewed their video's....well, don't wait any longer! I have an outfitter (John Kuypers) that sits right in the hot spot for the Fall migration where millions of ducks and geese stage before heading South. Hunt multiple species of Canada Geese, White Front Geese (Specks), Snow-Blue & Ross Geese and a wide variety of ducks, including Mallards, Pintails, Sandhill Cranes and for those who love upland birds, it's a good area for Sharp-tailed Grouse, Ruffed Grouse and Hungarian Partridge with one of their Munsterlanders.
Located in Saskatchewan, limits are generous. Hunters are allowed a daily limit of eight dark geese, which can include five speckelbelly geese. The daily white goose limit is 20. Combined with a daily limit of eight ducks only four may be Pintails, and five Sandhill Cranes. Hunters that are set up in a hot field on these prairies can experience incredible shooting. Sharp-tailed Grouse, Ruffed Grouse and Hungarian Partridge also call Saskatchewan home, you can have some fun with one of our Small Munsterlanders hunting these birds along shed rows in the fields. Sharp-tailed Grouse daily limit of two, season limit of four. Hungarian Partridge offers a daily limit of four, season limit of eight. Ruffed Grouse daily limit of ten. For our hunters who prefer to put their feet up and relax we offer an all inclusive hunt package. Our staff set up the field you are going to hunt with decoys and blinds while you enjoy your breakfast and hot beverage at the lodge. We drive you to your field that is already waiting for birds to land in. Enjoy the action packed morning with flock after flock of Canada geese moving across the sky. Once you shoot your limit or call it a morning, we'll drive you back to the lodge for brunch while our staff clean up the field of decoys, blinds, birds and casings. Included in this package is accommodation, meals, licenses, guides, bird processing, transportation, decoys & blinds, shells, and shotgun if you prefer to not bring yours. Not included is airfare, alcoholic beverages, gratuities, and sales tax.

Where approximately in Saskatchewan does the hunt take place?

Hi Mike, around multiple farms outside of Saskatoon. They pick you up from the airport, take you to their lodging and transport you each day. Includes food, lodging, license, bird cleaning etc. You provide your shells. If you drive up, they'll arrange a meeting place or at the lodge. Best, LD
