We have had a really great year at work, but I'm wayyyyyyy behind on vacation. So I'm scrabbling around last minute trying to find some sort of hunt in North America or Africa during October or November.

I just lost out on a shiras moose cancellation hunt. I'd prefer elk, moose in North Am or buffalo or elephant in Africa. As it is last minute, I'm open for suggestions.

Thanks!!!

Go Duke!!

I do like the Caprivi. I have taken 4 elephant bulls and a couple buffalo in the Caprivi in the Dzoti Conservancy.

Christian Weth often has buffalo quota to sell in Nov / Dec. His Karamoja area is buffalo Nirvana.

Zim has last minute quota in good areas too. That's what Thierry Labat and I did in 2020 and 2021, hunting 11 total buffs in less than two weeks.

Mokore has a good deal in Moz for buff.
If I had not just gone over there for a buff hunt, I would do this one.

Moose/Black Bear/Caribou in Newfoundland? Moose is $4,200 USD and includes your tag. I think we have a late October opening, I'll check if any interest. One Caribou tag for Nov.

British Columbia Moose: Oct 1-7th or 10th-17th
Could also possibly fit someone in late in the month around the 20th-30th 2022.

The late hunt would be a road accessible area only. Remote hunt via boat access in early/mid October after that road access to areas are most likely the only choice. Cost runs $11,500 1x1 remote hunt, or $9,500 road access. 2x1 is $7,500.

"Peace is that brief glorious moment in history when everybody stands around reloading" - Thomas Jefferson

Every morning the Zebra wakes up knowing it must outrun the fastest Lion if it wants to stay alive. Every morning the Lion wakes up knowing it must outrun the slowest Zebra or it will starve. It makes no difference if you are a Zebra or a Lion; when the Sun comes up in Africa, you must wake up running......

"If you're being chased by a Lion, you don't have to be faster than the Lion, you just have to be faster than the person next to you."
