I do have a very good opportunity for a late season lion hunt in Benin.

When: 29.March to 10.April or 29.April to 13.May
Where: Benin - Zone de chasse de BATIA
Who: Pendjari Safari

Unfortunatly one of my clients in Benin returned from his hunt in early Feb and didn't get his lion. However, he shot buffalo, roan, hippo etc.
There are three confirmed males in the concession at the moment and they saw them on several occassions but he didn't take the shot.

I am trying to be upfront with this hunt. This is not for everyone and you need to focus on your lion and work.
The area has good numbers of Roan and Buffalo. The concessions is managed (anti-poaching etc.).
I would also not call it self-guided, because you will have a local guide and a team of experienced trackers.
The hunting is much more intense & physical then in many other countries in southern africa. The camps are simple.

I would offer this lion for an attracktive rate for late season to hunters that are up for a challenge (April, early Mai). You will have a good chance to get a lion as this is the best time to hunt lion in these areas. It will be a physical hunt with temps of 42-46°C during the day and many hours on foot!

Hunters can shoot 1x Buffalo, 1x Roan and limited antelopes as well!

I can arrange Hippo in the boardering Concession as well!

no this is a tracking hunt.
The guys will try to find natural kills but they will only be used to start the tracking.

I am jealous of whoever jumps on this.

Hunted my buffalo in this area. It was really great. The conditions are maybe a little physical at this time but I think the chances are ideal then. Whoever does this hunt, I wish him a big Waidmannsheil!
