Hi All

Again this year I will be extending an invitation to AR members to come hunt Sonora for our big mule deer and enjoy the great experience of hunting in the desert. As of yet I have 3 offers.

All my hunts include the following:

- Transportation from the airport to the ranch and back after the hunt
- Lodging in ranch house
- All meals prepared by my chef or one of my cooks, snacks and beverages including alcohol in moderation
- All the required paperwork for you to hunt legally (contract, tags etc.)
- Gun import permit
- Guiding
- The use of a high rack vehicle with a driver per hunter
- 1 Mule deer
- Basic trophy preparation for you to travel home back with it
- Coyotes and Javelinas

Not included:
- Gratuities for the staff (completely up to the hunter)
- Hotels before or after the hunt
- Airfares
- Extra Mule deer or coues deer added to the hunt

Hunting method is driving the flats in a high rack, mixed with glassing/spot n stalk.

These are the options I have:

Option 1
This ranch is 1.5 hours away from Hermosillo, this will be my second year hunting this ranch of which I have the exclusive lease, the ranch is roughly 13,300 acres all free range, has good road system, lots of deer and good chances at taking 190" plus animals there, our biggest dear last year came from there and was 196" and broken we saw at least two bigger deer there. We put feed and water there. The main problem is the ranch house is pretty small and rustic, however we have hot and cold running water, electricity and dry clean beds. I have two tags left in this ranch and I would want to sell them both on a single hunt for 2 hunters but an individual hunt could be arranged. Only mule deer are found in this ranch, no coues deer.
price for this ranch $8000 if a deer is shot $6500 if no deer is shot.
I have good references of the ranch, deer numbers and size of the hunters which were there last year in case you want to consult them.

Option 2
This ranch I have not hunted before, this would be my first year. It is found 30 min away from Hermosillo, it is roughly 7500 acres all free range, good road system, healthy deer population but have no real idea of the size potential there, but considering the area it should be pretty good, we will target 180" plus deer there preferably. We have plenty of water there and we will be putting feed after the rainy season prior to the hunting season. The ranch house is nice, has good clean bedrooms with several beds and clean bathrooms and plenty of space and areas to hang out, it should be pretty comfortable for anyone's standards. I have 3 tags for this ranch, would like to do an individual hunt or a double hunt. The ranch has both mule and coues deer.
As this would be my first year hunting this ranch I plan on doing discounted price hunts there.
$6000 all included, coues deer can be shot for a $2000 trophy fee.

Option 3
This ranch I have also not hunted before but I know the record of past hunts there as well as the size of the deer that have been taken there. This ranch is about 4 hours away from hermosillo, it is located 1 hour from the city of caborca, here hunters have the option of either being picked up in tucson or in hermosillo. The ranch is roughly 23,000 acres, all free range, this is a more desertic ranch. I am going to target 190" plus animals there as this area is considered one of the best in sonora for big deer. Last season they shot a 195" and the previous season in a single week a 217" and a 204", Only 3 deer are taken yearly to maintain good quality. We have water and feeders for the deer. The house is rustic but comfortable, clean bathroom, solar power, and clean beds. I have 2 tags there which I would like to use in a single hunt for two.
Coues deer are present as well.
Tags here are pretty expensive that is the reason the price is the highest.
$9000 all included and coues deer at a kill fee of $2000.

Pictures from last season and a taste of what you could experience.

If you have any question or doubt of my operation in general or of the individual options please let me know. I can also provide pictures of the ranch, animals etc. Thought it would be too confusing to post them all in a single post.

Hopefully some of you get to come down here this season to experience our excellent hunting!

Hi Webster

I did 2 hunts last season. Shot 3 deer.
I get 5 tags in this ranch and distribute the tags depending on the amount of hunters, planning on doing 3 hunts this year.

Try putting a "52" in front; that is the country code for Mexico. For some reason, Mexicans never include it.

011 for the international long distance, then 52 and then the phone number.

Unless you are calling from your mobile; in that case you don't need it.

There is one tag left for option 1, 3 tags left for option 2 and option 3 is sold!

Great dates in both pre rut and in the heart of the rut available, we've had great rains this year which translates to great antler growth, with water and feed we provide we have great chances at 180"-190" deer in our ranches!
