Does this mean 2 hunters can shoot 4 buffalo total? Or 1 buffalo each?

Caracal,
Just for clarification. That is $8,800 euros for 10 days 1x1 and $7,100 euros for 2x1.
I also assume that includeds the services of a licensed PH?

I have walked in the foot prints of the elephant, listened to lion roar and met the buffalo on his turf. I shall never be the same.

Hi,

Caracal is in the bush somewhere in West Africa and I am not sure but I think he has no internet access.

@Russ: It is one Buffalo each. So 2 in Total.

@Thunder Head: I am not an expert here just can tell you what I have understood. (Will go in Decemeber to Benin to get a Buff Smiler )

Yes the PH is included and the prices are in euro not in $. On top come some Governmental stuff listed under "not included". So big game license and 22,87 per hunting day come on top but not charges by the outfitter but by Government.

Regards,
Hendrik

Sorry fot the late reply guys. I have been in the bush without internet for 3 weeks.

@Russ
It's two Buffalos per hunter, so 4 Buffalos total if you hunt 2:1.

@Thunderhead
Correct it is 8850 euros (1:1)or 7.100 euros (2:1).
This includes a licensed guide, trackers and a safari vehicle.

Please ask of you have any more questions!

The coulours varies from red to black.

There are no LD Eland this region.

Hi Caracal,

Where is your area ? What's its name ?

There are 5 areas in BENIN

4 AREAS belong to BENIN people and 1 to a Spanish man (Mr CHELET)

-CLUB FAUNE , KETTNER VOYAGES, PENDJARI SAFARI, CHELET SAFARIS... PatricK MARTIN , and you ?
kettner voyages 3750 euros 7 days
pendjari safaris 3500 euros 7 days
chelet safari 4000 euros
Patrick MARTIN 7500 euros
CLUB FAUNE 7500 euros

2 buffaloes bull tracking is not possible by 2x1 in januray feburay, in march it is possible , water is rare, and 1 organises shooting from the car but to me it is not hunting, but it's not the most expensive...
All areas are good for buffaloes..lions. It's dfferent for antilopes

The lion hunting is special....because the lion never touches the bait, and hunting with the bait and the sound are forbidden. Only track in the grass , in high grass.. and sometimes we have 3 cats together in the grass....
good school for PH..(SA) tracking lessons are free...in certain organisations...

Thanks for your response

Hello,
Yes I know the number of hunting areas and the operators, thank you.
I am not a Concessionaire, I only offer the packages here.

The bush is greener and there is more water in January&February but the temperatures are also much more pleasant. I agree that hunting in March&April can be easier but many people are not comfortable with the heat.

I agree regarding the lion hunting. It is very interesting and exciting. However, there is only one permit for this area and this is sold for the next seasons.

Hope that answers you question.
