I have 4 2 Rocky Mountain Goat hunts for next fall. These are excellent boat based hunts for those who prefer not to sleep in tents and face the elements all night. We have a very high rate of success on taking mature, heavy horned billies with long coats. We do not harvest nannies or young males. Sleep aboard our comfortable private yacht, take hot showers, eat good hot food and dry your clothes if it happens to rain. When not on the mountain persuing goats you are living in comfort aboard the yacht where our full-time cook keeps you fed and the TV plays a good movie. These are true trophy mountain Goat hunts. The mountain goats in this area are an under utilized resource and provide a first class hunt. Black Bear are extremely abundant in this area and can be combined with Goats as an additional trophy. I am booking 2 hunters on each hunt period as follows:
Sept 15th - 21st (2 spots open)
Sept 23rd - 30th (2 spots open)
Fall 2010: $9,800 Remaining hunts reduced to $8,800 per hunter (1x1 only)+ $300 Goat tag.
Black Bear possible for $3,000 trophy fee +
$225 Black Bear tag, and we take some huge Blackie's in this area.

You will fly to Cordova, AK where a float plane will charter you right to the yacht.
Charter cost $700 but may be split with another hunter (only 2 hunters on each hunt allowed but you will hunt 1x1). Not included: items of a personal nature, gratuities as you see deserving for your guide and cook, hotel stay in Cordova before and after your hunt, taxidermy and shipping concerns. 50% deposit required to confirm booking. Woodrow, the hunt is in the National Forest guiding concession in Prince William Sound (Black Bear and Goat). We only harvest mature billies of trophy quality. The outfitter is Greg Jennen. If you would like pics and references, just drop me a line or give me a call.

Yeah Fourtyonesix, I've had duck hunting on my mind lately and considering building a pontoon boat/floating blind. Float plane...my bad

lol no worries, just been a long time since i heard that.
Gregs got good goats where he hunts, been there, seen it, seen him. be prepared for wet and brush till you clear the brush, then its gorgeous country. lotta black bears too.

I am discounting $1,000 on
each of our last 2 September goat hunts making them $8,800 rather than
$9,800. These hunts are conducted from the 50’ yacht the RUFFINIT in Prince William Sound Alaska. We have never had a client come on this hunt that did not shoot a nice big goat. We are permitted just 4 of these each year by Chugach National Forest where Greg is one of the few outfitter's doing
yacht-based hunts in Prince William Sound. Big goats are no problem!
