I have a few Kansas Whitetail hunts remaining. Hunt starts September 14th! Area is out of Lawrence, KS. Outfitter is George Cummins. Good chance to kill a B&C buck on this hunt. Last year the group had two B&C bucks out of 8 hunters. 5 day semi-guided hunt includes lodging (no meals; available in town). Private property. Draw for tags but so far everyone is 100% on drawing a tag. Last year there were leftover tags (OTC). $346.96 Nonresident White-tailed Deer Permit Fee. Applications are online only for 2015 and run from April 1 - April 24th or you can apply via phone. No time to lose if your interested. Cost of hunt is $2,500 per hunter.

"Peace is that brief glorious moment in history when everybody stands around reloading" - Thomas Jefferson

Every morning the Zebra wakes up knowing it must outrun the fastest Lion if it wants to stay alive. Every morning the Lion wakes up knowing it must outrun the slowest Zebra or it will starve. It makes no difference if you are a Zebra or a Lion; when the Sun comes up in Africa, you must wake up running......

"If you're being chased by a Lion, you don't have to be faster than the Lion, you just have to be faster than the person next to you."

Wow, $2500 whitetail hunt with a "good chance to kill a b&c buck", think maybe your overselling this a little?

Brad,
You've picked at his hunts specifically on more than one occasion.
David specifically stated "2 of 8" hunters harvested B&C bucks....
Most would say 25% on B&C bucks is pretty darn good at any free range property at any price.

Now, we'd all agree that one would expect to pay more than $2,500 for a "good chance" at a B&C buck.... Does that mean that this a Great Deal???? Or is he "overselling ".. Or are we (you) calling Shenannigans ?
I believe if they indeed harvested 2 B&C bucks with 8 hunters...that's pretty D good anywhere.

Ponyman,
I have stated before, I don't know LDK from a can of paint, but I am a consumer on this forum and will call BS when I smell it. Many of LDK's offers smell like BS, such as this one. I have been in the business for a lot of years, on both the consumer side and the marketing side. Places that consistently produce book deer (25% is more than consistent) are not charging $2,500 for their hunts. Leaches who market their hunts as something more than what they are, prey upon the inexperience of hunters and do the industry a disservice. How about this, market the hunt as what it is, a $2500 whitetail hunt (which is dirt cheap these days) with reasonable expectations of a 120"-140" buck, that is a deal. George takes some nice deer in KY, I do not know anything about his Kansas properties. But no, LDK has to make out that you could reasonably expect to shoot a book deer (25%) which is a gross overstatement. But hey, what do I know. Caveat Emptor.

You may well be right, and one normally gets what one pays for for sure.. In any business...
You are absolutely correct in the fact this is below market for how it is presented and you may well be doing the forum a favor in calling that out...
It simply seems a bit aggressive to me to proactively intimate someone is essentially trying to be the "Pinnochio as a motivational Speaker"
If I'm wrong I apologize
I would let LDK respond as to how fairly he has presented the opportunity. Caveat Emptor is a fair statement on anything that appears too good to be true.
If it is a property that easily produces 120-140 class mature deer and has produced some honest Booners then its a good deal regardless.

If he dropped the word 'Good' would it make you happy? Then it would read 'chance at a B&C'

Hmm, good question, I guess everytime you get in your car on the North American continent you stand a "chance at a B&C buck"? My point exactly. archer

Perhaps you think about B&C whitetails when you get behind the wheel but I have never heard anyone else express those sentiments.
