Any thoughts on using AA and their affiliates to travel to South Africa next year with a firearm? ______________________ I'm not a great hunter...just a guy who loves to hunt.

I looked at the list of American Airlines affiliates and I didn't see anyone on there that I would fly to South Africa with. The only one was British Airways, but I prefer a direct, non-stop flight if at all possible. I have flown Delta and SAA many, many times. At this juncture, I still use Delta, as it flies non-stop every day to Joburg from Atlanta, and visa versa. I have never had a single issue with Delta and my firearms. They are used to hunters flying from Atlanta to Joburg with firearms on a fairly regular basis and everyone knows the drill.

Since AA doesn’t fly there you have to use an affiliate. I prefer Qatar Airlines Vote Trump- Putin’s best friend… To quote a former AND CURRENT Trumpiteer - DUMP TRUMP

For travelling with an AA affiliate to Africa with firearms, everyone is a $hit show except for Qatar. Safe travels

It would appear that at least by looking at the AA website, that the ban on transfer of firearms to another line might be over. But you never know.
