American Airlines to South Africa
Any thoughts on using AA and their affiliates to travel to South Africa next year with a firearm?

Use Enough Gun
I looked at the list of American Airlines affiliates and I didn't see anyone on there that I would fly to South Africa with. The only one was British Airways, but I prefer a direct, non-stop flight if at all possible. I have flown Delta and SAA many, many times. At this juncture, I still use Delta, as it flies non-stop every day to Joburg from Atlanta, and visa versa. I have never had a single issue with Delta and my firearms. They are used to hunters flying from Atlanta to Joburg with firearms on a fairly regular basis and everyone knows the drill. Big Grin

Since AA doesn’t fly there you have to use an affiliate. I prefer Qatar Airlines

For travelling with an AA affiliate to Africa with firearms, everyone is a $hit show except for Qatar.

Safe travels

It would appear that at least by looking at the AA website, that the ban on transfer of firearms to another line might be over. But you never know.

Get it in writing that your guns will not be refused boarding in Europe when you connect ..
