Reports state the PCR test is no loger required for those vaccinated. "proof of vaccination within 14 days of arrival" I did not see. does this mean the vaccination had to be within 14 days? Makes not sense as the vaccination's two shots are a month apart and the booster comes 4 months later. _______________________________ Cal Pappas, Willow, Alaska www.CalPappas.com www.CalPappas.blogspot.com 1994 Zimbabwe 1997 Zimbabwe 1998 Zimbabwe 1999 Zimbabwe 1999 Namibia, Botswana, Zambia--vacation 2000 Australia 2002 South Africa 2003 South Africa 2003 Zimbabwe 2005 South Africa 2005 Zimbabwe 2006 Tanzania 2006 Zimbabwe--vacation 2007 Zimbabwe--vacation 2008 Zimbabwe 2012 Australia 2013 South Africa 2013 Zimbabwe 2013 Australia 2016 Zimbabwe 2017 Zimbabwe 2018 South Africa 2018 Zimbabwe--vacation 2019 South Africa 2019 Botswana 2019 Zimbabwe vacation 2021 South Africa 2021 South Africa (2nd hunt a month later) ______________________________

So we need to provide proof that we are fully vaccinated to someone in Zimbabwe within 14 days of arriving? It can't be that we need to be fully vaccinated within 14 days of arrival!? What about the PCR test for your return flight? Is that still required? Tom Z NRA Life Member

This is for/from Namibia but the same logic should be applied to other countries as to what the requirements are and what constitutes full vaccination status: https://na.usembassy.gov/covid-19-information/ Other countries may/will have different timelines.

That's great news for the vaxxed. Rest of us have to have a PCR result issued within 72hrs of departure from US for RSA. That's nice, it's 48hrs for Zim, so this is a more forgiving "window" for test results to come in. When you have two groups, equally likely to be carrying Covid: testing one group and not the other is good science. No doubt this move will flatten the curve.
