A letter arrived today with my hard copy.

I did not ask for my application to be expedited.

We are looking right at 13 1/2 months for mine to be processed.

I know this might be a dumb idea, but why don't they tie GE in with your passport renewal? I believe I paid $100 dollars last time I renewed so basically $20 dollars a year, which I would gladly pay $200 for a 10 year GE pass. This could be all pro rated depending on how many years you had left on your passport before it expires. Or it could cause everyone's passports to take for ever to get processed.

After waiting for a Year driving 40 MIles for an Interview. I just received Denied today!!! I AM SHOCKED!!! I guess they just wanted the Application Fee and they DO NOT want anyone Leaving The Country!!!

I used Mobile Passport Control last week. It’s not as fast as Global Entry . It is a hell of a lot faster than standing in line .

What happened at your in person-interview that ended with you receiving a denial letter?

I am squeaky clean . Nothing on FBI background checks . Nothing on Freedom of Information Act requests.

Larry, I thought nothing less from you.

When I was working (retired for a while now) when paperwork was stalled, we found the person who was sitting on it. When you found that bottle neck, we would move up the chain line to chat with their supervisor to move things along.

I am just thinking.

Someone has you pegged and are sitting on your application (your application keeps moving to the bottom of the pile). Maybe your attorney can find the chain line that your application processed through and your attorney can obtain the names for each person who handled your application.
